Dum Traditional Loose Base Blue – Egyptian Glass Hookah Base

Dum Traditional Loose Base Blue

Is the base of your traditional hookah broken? Then you do not have to buy a complete new one straight away. This Dum traditional loose base in blue has the classic Egyptian bottle shape: a long, narrow neck and a wide, round bottom. The lightly tinted glass has two frosted bands, copper-coloured rings and blue lines. On the lower band there is a blue apple logo with Arabic lettering.

Good to know before you order

The base is supplied loose, without a base grommet. If your old grommet is still supple and intact, simply reuse it. Otherwise you will find a new one among our hookah grommets. Dum gives no dimensions for this base and names no specific hookah. So keep your current base at hand: check whether the neck is just as wide and the height roughly the same.

Filling and keeping it clean

Fill the base with cold water until the downstem sits a few centimetres under water. After smoking, pour the water away and rinse the glass with warm water. A bottle brush comes in handy in the narrow neck. Want to give the water some colour? Then have a look at our colouring liquid for the base.
