For an evening with the group

A hookah with enough ports, and everything to have the coals ready on time.

With a group

A hookah for four or more

With a group it comes down to three things: enough hose ports, enough coals and a plan for the evening.

Multiple hose ports

A hookah with two to four ports lets more people smoke at the same time without passing the hose around. Note: the number of ports tells you how many hoses fit at once, not how many are in the box. That is stated in the product description.

A bigger base

The volume of the base does more for the smoke than the overall height. A large model from 65 centimeters has a roomy base and a long stem, but it does need a fixed spot. If a port has no valve of its own, close it off when you are not using it; otherwise the hookah draws in false air.

A plan for the evening

How many hookahs and coals you need for an evening with friends is worked out in this guide to a shisha night.

Coals

Enough coals for a long evening

Count on three coconut coals per bowl and a new bowl after about forty minutes. For four hours with two hookahs that adds up to around thirty-six coals. So order generously.

A burner that keeps up

For a group, burners of 2000 to 2500 watts are recommended, often with a double plate: the coals for the next round are already glowing while the first ones are still burning. More in our guide to coal burners.

Tongs with every hookah

Put a pair of tongs with each hookah and set out a fireproof dish for the spent coals. Then nobody has to wait to add more.

What does a hookah for a group cost?

A hookah with multiple hose ports is on average a little more expensive than a model for one person, but you also share it with more people. This is how our range is split:

Under EUR 100

Twenty models, from EUR 39.99. Most of them have two hose ports: enough for a small group.

Between EUR 100 and EUR 150

This is where most of them are: thirty models, more than half of them with four ports.

From EUR 150

Nine larger models, all with four ports, for anyone who wants the hookah to be an eye-catcher in the living room too.

The brand with the most choice is Amy Deluxe, with 39 models for two or more hoses. Dum, Aladin, H2 and Oduman follow.

Summer

With a group in the garden or on the terrace

In summer an evening with friends often moves outside. A few things to keep in mind:

A sturdy surface

A large hookah belongs on a flat paving stone or a sturdy table, not on grass or a wobbly garden table. More hoses also means more people pulling on it, and that causes movement.

Cool smoke on a warm evening

An ice bazooka is a mouthpiece with a cooling element that you freeze for at least an hour. You push it into the end of a silicone hose, and the smoke comes through cooler for about an hour. More in ice bazooka and ice hose.

Children and pets

Keep the burner and the hot coals out of their reach, and have a fireproof dish at hand for the spent coals.

Around the hookah

What else ends up on the table

An evening around a hookah easily lasts a few hours. Besides the hookah itself, a few things make the evening easier:

  • Mouthpieces per person: everyone their own hygienic mouthpiece on the shared hose.
  • Spare coals on the burner: so there is no gap between two bowls.
  • A fireproof dish: for ash and spent coals, not the bin.
  • A game: parchi, ludo or backgammon fill the time between bowl changes.

Frequently asked questions: buying shisha in Eindhoven

Do you deliver to every district of Eindhoven?

Yes, to all seven: Centrum, Gestel, Stratum, Strijp, Tongelre, Woensel-Noord and Woensel-Zuid. The rates are the same everywhere.

When will my order be in Eindhoven?

Ordered on a working day before 18:00, your parcel leaves the same day and arrives the next working day. A weekend order goes out on the first working day after.

How many hoses come with a hookah that has multiple ports?

That differs per model. The number of ports tells you how many hoses fit at once, not how many are in the box. Check the product description and add a separate hose if you need one.

How many coals do I need for an evening?

A bowl with three coconut coals lasts about forty minutes. If you want to smoke for four hours with two hookahs, order around forty coals so you have some left over.

Do you have a shop in Eindhoven?

No. Our shops are in Almere and Beverwijk, both a long drive from Eindhoven. That is why we deliver everything to your home here.

Can I order in English?

Yes. You are on the English version of the shop; you can switch language with the selector at the top of the page. Not every product description has been translated yet.

Can several people smoke one hookah at the same time?

Yes, with a model with two to four hose ports. Each port gets its own hose. If a port has no valve of its own, close it off when nobody is using it.

Do you also ship to Belgium and Germany?

Yes. Shipping to Belgium, Germany and France costs EUR 9.99, to the other EU countries EUR 12.99.

What does a hookah with multiple hoses cost?

With us from EUR 39.99. The largest group costs between EUR 100 and EUR 150; with four ports you are usually above EUR 100.
