Shop and webshop

What can you do in the shop and what online?

Shop and webshop complement each other, but they do not work the same way. Three things to know:

Ordering online means delivery

An online order is always shipped. Collecting from the shop is not an option at checkout, not even if you live in Beverwijk.

In the shop you take it straight home

Whatever is on the shelf you buy on the spot and take home right away.

Look first, order later

Torn between two models? Look at them in the shop at the weekend and order online afterwards if that suits you better.

Hoses for every hookah

Washable silicone hoses, classic hoses and ice hoses. Check for each hose which connection it belongs with.

Delivery in Beverwijk and surroundings

Not coming at the weekend? Then we simply deliver to your home. Online orders come from our warehouse in Almere, not from the shop at De Bazaar.

Not at home? At checkout you can also choose a PostNL point nearby. Note: that is something different from collecting in our shop, which is not possible.

Parts

Need a base, hose or grommet? Bring the old part along

Not everyone comes to De Bazaar for a new hookah. Often it is about a part: a cracked base, a hose that gives off taste or a grommet that leaks. Bring the old part with you, and in the shop you see right away what fits.

Base

How your base is attached decides what fits. With a rubber grommet in the neck, a universal base often fits; with a click or screw system, only the base for your model.

Hose and mouthpiece

Hoses differ in connection and length. With the old hose in your hand you see straight away which new one fits.

Grommets

A dried-out or torn grommet lets in false air and is quickly replaced.

Luxury

Luxury shishas: you see the difference in real life

Luxury hookahs cost between EUR 160 and EUR 300 with us; half cost less than EUR 190. Most of them come from Amy Deluxe and Oduman. At that price it pays to see them first:

The glass

In a photo many bases look alike. In real life you see the thickness, the colour and the finish of the glass.

The stem

Feel the weight and look at the seams and the thread. A stem that closes tightly is less likely to leak air.

The spot at home

Measure the spot where the hookah will stand beforehand, so you know right away in the shop whether the model fits.

At home

Setting up your new hookah at home

Putting a new hookah together takes minutes once you know the order. If you have an Amy Deluxe, it is explained step by step in this guide to assembling an Amy Deluxe. In short:

  • Water in the base: until the downstem is 1 to 2 centimeters under water.
  • Stem on top: click, screw or push it into a rubber grommet in the neck, depending on the model.
  • Tray, bowl and hose: in that order, and check that all the grommets sit properly.
  • Test without coals: draw on the hose once; if air leaks, a grommet somewhere is not seated right.
