How many cubes are in a box of Coco X 26mm?

According to the packaging, 64 pieces that weigh 1 kilo together.

What size are the cubes exactly?

The label says CUBES 26³, which means 26 x 26 x 26 millimetres per cube.

Can I light Coco X coals with a lighter?

No. These are natural coals, so they first need to glow through completely on an electric or gas burner.

How long does one cube burn?

We deliberately do not state a figure: sellers contradict each other and the manufacturer gives none. Your bowl, heat management device or foil and your pace of smoking all make a big difference.

How many coals do I put on my hookah?

That depends on the size of your bowl and whether you use a heat management device. Build the heat up slowly and only add a cube when the smoke gets thinner.

Do you sell Coco X in a larger pack?

Yes, the 26 mm also comes in a 20 kilo box. Handy for lounges or if you smoke often.

When will my coals arrive?

Order before 18:00 and they arrive the next day (NL). Orders above € 89.99 ship for free.

Product Description

Coco X 26mm Hookah Coals 1KG

The Coco X 26mm hookah coals come in a box of exactly 1 kilo of natural charcoal. The label reads CUBES 26³: every cube measures 26 by 26 by 26 millimetres, and the box holds 64 pieces. That is a common cube size, shared by many of the other natural coals in our range.

What does the box say?

Brand: Coco X
Type: natural coconut charcoal
Shape: cube (CUBES 26³)
Size per cube: 26 x 26 x 26 mm
Contents: 1 kg
Number of cubes: 64

We could not confirm a burn time or ash percentage with the manufacturer. Sellers quote different figures, so we stick to what is printed on the label. How long a cube keeps glowing depends on your bowl, your heat management and how often you draw.

How to light Coco X coals

Natural coals will not catch fire from a regular lighter. Place the cubes on a coal burner and wait until every side glows orange; a thin layer of grey ash is normal. Move them with tongs or one of our coal carriers onto the foil, screen or heat management device. How many cubes you need depends on your hookah bowl: start with too few and add one once the smoke thins out. Glowing coals release carbon monoxide, so always keep the room well ventilated.

If you smoke a lot or run a lounge, these 26 mm cubes also come in a 20 kilo bulk box. Coco X makes a 27 mm version as well: the Coco X 27mm coals per kilo and the 27mm bulk pack of 20 kilos.

Why choose Coco X 26mm coals?

You know in advance what you get: 64 cubes, 26 mm and 1 kilo, exactly as printed. Natural coals contain no ignition agent like quick-light coals, so you will not taste one either. The flat sides of a cube sit steadily on a heat management device or screen, which makes adjusting the heat easier.

Use the size selector at the top of this page to switch straight to the 27MM version of Coco X; price and weight per box are the same.
