The bowl is made of a clay mix and finished with a heat-resistant glaze. The rim and the bowl have a speckled pattern in black and white, while the base is brown with vertical ribs. With a height of about 12 centimetres and a width of approximately 7.5 centimetres it is a generous bowl, with room for about 18 to 22 grams.

What is a phunnel?

A phunnel has one hole in the centre on a raised island, instead of several small holes in the base. As a result the molasses does not run down, but stays in the bowl. That keeps your stem and base cleaner. According to Werkbund you also smoke relatively long with this bowl using a smaller amount than you may be used to.

Handmade, so every bowl is unique

Werkbund makes the Zeus bowls by hand. As a result no two bowls are exactly the same: the shape, the colour gradient and the logo may differ from the photo, and sometimes there is no logo at all. Small hairline cracks in the glaze are part of the material and are not a defect. The same goes for so-called bleeding after a number of sessions, where the clay absorbs some of the filling and this becomes visible on the outside. The photo shows the bowl from the side and from above: you get one bowl.

Features

Brand: Werkbund Hookah

Model: Zeus Black & White

Type: phunnel hookah bowl

Material: clay mix with heat-resistant glaze

Height: approx. 12 cm

Width: approx. 7.5 cm

Capacity: approx. 18–22 grams

Included: the bowl only

What do you use the Zeus with?

On a phunnel you usually place the coals on a heat management device. You will find those among our hookah bowl parts, and foil works too. The clay mix holds heat well and spreads it evenly, so start with a few coals and only add one later. First heat your hookah coals through completely on a coal burner. After smoking, let the bowl cool down. Thanks to the glaze the leftovers come out easily, then rinse it with warm water without soap and let it dry well.

Buy the Werkbund Zeus at ShishaSmaak.nl

Order before 18:00 for next-day delivery (NL), with free shipping from € 89.99.
